Since June 2011, John Paul the Great Academy has been blessed to have on its campus the Sacred Heart of Jesus Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. In this sacred space, committed adorers spend a grace-filled hour every week with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus waits there, in the monstrance, for us to bring Him our love, our prayers, our hopes and fears. He longs to shower us with His love and grace beyond our imagining. He humbled Himself so many years ago so that He could be present to us today in this sacred Host. Here He waits for us. In this chapel, He waits for you.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Adoration Chapel is located in the main building of John Paul the Great Academy on Carmel Drive. A sidewalk leads from the gravel parking lot to the entrance of the chapel. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our ongoing goal is to have two committed adorers for each hour of the day. Like many other Perpetual Adoration Chapels, however, we have hours that have no committed adorer, or only one committed adorer. Please prayerfully consider filling one of those hours.
It will require determination on your part, for the evil one does not want us to grow so close to the Lord. But it will be a time of peace, joy, and a special intimacy that you will come to share with Jesus. It will be a time that you grow to treasure. It will become the high point of your week.
To sign up for an hour, contact Mrs. Megan Richard, our Adoration Coordinator, or click the link at the top of the page. Signing up is important so that coordinators know which hours are filled and which hours are vacant.
If you can ever not attend your committed hour, please request a substitute. We cannot leave Jesus alone!
Our Lord will be pleased with your efforts to spend time with Him, and you will experience His peace, which is beyond all understanding.
