Mr. Fletcher is the second Headmaster of John Paul the Great Academy, following Dr. Kevin Roberts, the school’s founder.
Since 2007, Fletcher has served as Assistant Principal at St. Michael High School in Baton Rouge, LA, and Youth Minister at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary, LA. Before coming to Louisiana, Fletcher taught theology for 9 years at Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha, NE, where he founded the E.Q.U.I.P. High School Executive Internship Program and the “We’re Not Afraid Catholic Teen Show on Spirit 88.9 FM. During his first year at St. Michael High School, Fletcher founded and directed and the Louisiana Youth Pilgrimage to the March for Life, which has provided a life changing faith experience to thousands of young people, seminarians, priests, and religious sisters from across Louisiana and beyond. Eighteen charter buses depart for the March for Life each January because of this program. He also created the Diocese of Baton Rouge MP3 Youth Rally (MP3 stands for Music, Prayer, Praise, and Play), which introduces high school students to the beauty and power of Confession and Eucharistic Adoration. Mr. Fletcher and his wife, Christie, have 7 children, ranging from 6 to 19. Three sons, Aidan, Paul and Isaiah, attend John Paul the Great Academy. His oldest son, Kolbe attends St. Benedict Seminary for the Diocese of Baton Rouge, LA. His daughter Clare attends Christendom College.
