“We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father” (1 Thes 1, 2-3).
Dear JPG family,
We want to share with you all the great news that we have been granted scholarships for a summer English course at St. John’s in New York. The summer course begins in early May and so our summer vacations have been moved up. Continue to pray for us so that we may learn English quickly so that next semester we will be able to share a lot more with you.
We greet you in Christ and Mary, who have filled us with abundant blessings and in a very special way, allowing us to live this wonderful experience in Lafayette. This time has been a great time of joy for our lives and our community. Your testimony of life has been support for our vocations and mission; the welcoming and the love that we have received is the love of Christ himself manifested in each of you.
The moment has come to say “see you soon!” we are immensely thankful with our great Lord who has brought us to this land abundant in milk and honey. Through the course of the year we have learned to know Him more, love Him more so that we can serve Him better, “so that He may be known, loved and served through all the nations”.
We have seen God’s promised fulfilled in all of you, when we are told that those who leave behind mother and father will receive a thousand fold, since each of you has been a family to us in Christ and Mary. You have taken a very important place in our hearts.
We will see you soon. May God continue to bless all of your families in ardent love, faith, and hope. Enjoy your vacations!!!
