We have arrived at an important moment in our history as John Paul the Great Academy. Over the past 15 years, the school has continually grown and strengthened its foundation as a Catholic, classical education leader.
Before us are three opportunities to shape our campus, and we would like your input as we consider moving forward. Below is a fact sheet that describes the Chapel, Lower School building, and Multipurpose Building for our community and to help further the Kingdom by helping to advance the movement of Catholic classical education.
This Fall, progress has continued in building the future of JPG. This Fall, overgrowth on campus was cleared to make a survey of our property possible. The survey is being completed this month. Once complete, our architect will be able to produce initial designs for a new Lower School building and chapel. In the Spring Semester, the Board of Trustees will lead a process of completing the design plans with community involvement.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about our upcoming campaign or the building projects on the horizon, please email Dcn. Adam Conque, dcnconque@jpgacademy.org.
At the June Board Retreat, the Board of Trustees reviewed the contents of the Spring Planning Study and discussed the possibility of a capital campaign to result in the building of a new Chapel and Lower School for our community. Following this retreat, the Board hired Salvatore Caruso Design Corporation of San Jose, California to create the design plans for our new buildings. The first phase of his work should conclude this Fall. Once we review the designs and bids on the construction, we can begin formatting the campaign.

On May 5, we concluded a Planning Study facilitated by the Steier Group to gain meaningful feedback from our community to guide the campaign process. Many people participated with in-person interviews or online surveys. Here is a summary of what we learned with a full report still to come:
Our next update on our campaign discernment will come at the end of June, following our Board Retreat and the work of our team to process the great feedback from the planning study. Thank you for your continued support of our community in this process.
