State Champs!

Dear Families and Friends of JPG:

Congratulations to our Guardian soccer team, which just won our school's first-ever state championship! They also conclude our first-ever undefeated season at 11-0.

In addition to the championship, Coach Brent Coleman was selected as Coach of the Year, and Brice Cambre (Class of 2014), Nick Leblanc ('13), and Aaron Riley ('13) were all selected to 1st Team All-State. Nick Leblanc was also selected as the League MVP.

Championships, of course, are built on years of hard work, so this achievement rests on the solid foundation laid by previous players -- and, especially, by former head coach Jason Myers. To Jason, to Brent, to Assistant Coach John Guidry, and to all the players, we again congratulate you, and thank you for winning as terrific witnesses to the faith.
